Wynn’s Whimsical Witches, Inc. is a non-profit 501 C 3 organization recently formed in memory of my husband Wynn Mallard, who passed suddenly from cancer in August of 2016.  My children, Christine and Patrick, and myself felt it was important to keep Wynn’s spirit alive and we couldn’t think of a better way to do it then by giving back to the community that he was so involved with.

My husband Wynn, was very active in the Bordentown community and touched many lives through his work for the US Postal service and volunteering for a number of Bordentown focused programs.  He was also the guy, who would drop everything to help someone in need, no matter what. Unlike so many of us, he had the opportunity to save a life, as he was a member of the medical response team at the USPS and administered lifesaving CPR to one of his fellow colleagues. Without Wynn’s intuitiveness and quick response his colleague would have passed……All in all, Wynn was very humble and provided an act of kindness, not to be recognized, but because he enjoyed doing it.  That being said, we feel it is only appropriate to keep Wynn’s spirit alive by being able to give back to the community with random acts of kindness gestures.

Donations received through various fundraising events will go to a scholarship fund for a Bordentown Regional HS senior (Wynn was all about education) and the remainder of the monies will go to multiple outreach programs within the Bordentown community.  Whether a family is going through a major illness and simply cannot afford to pay a bill, or a family cannot afford to put a meal on the table or warm coats on their backs, the money will be used to fulfill acts of random kindness as such mentioned. All of us are susceptible to hard times, and with your donation we will be able to help some families meet some of their essential daily needs!
